H2 Clipper unveils green airship concept
Startup H2 Clipper has unveiled a design for an airship that will use green fuel to travel through the air. The device is striking in its carrying capacity.
The dimensions of the airship, according to the authors of the project, will resemble those used in the past. However, the innovation will be the type of fuel - hydrogen. This will significantly reduce air emissions.
The technical characteristics of the aircraft are impressive. The airship will be able to carry about 150 tons, which is 8 times more than the carrying capacity of modern aircraft. Nevertheless, the travel speed is insignificant: up to 280 km / h.
It is noted that the airship will not only be an environmentally friendly aircraft, but also very economical. The cost of transporting cargo will be 4 times less than what modern transport companies pay for it.
There is nothing remarkable in the appearance of the device. The traditional design will be complemented by several modern loading elements. Perhaps even equipped with automatic forklifts, which will facilitate the procedure for placing oversized items inside the compartments.
The color of the airship was also chosen as calm as possible. The developers decided that the aircraft must meet the concept of environmental friendliness. Calm shades of blue, beige and white.
The year of the project has not yet been set, since the startup needs to find investors willing to invest in the construction of airships of this type. This will probably happen in 5-7 years.
