The first text message containing congratulations was sold at a French auction. The e-mail was estimated at 107 thousand euros.

This is a message sent by a Vodafone engineer. His colleague was the addressee, and the reason was the Christmas holidays. The message was an NFT, a popular way of securing rights to an item or items in the virtual world.

Each such token is available only in a single copy, it cannot be forged, changed or divided into parts. Information about the author, owner and transactions that were carried out with him is stored in the blockchain.

The winning bidder did not want to be named. But the confirmation of the purchase was the receipt of a frame with text in digital format, where his code and communication protocol were listed.

It is noted that according to French law, intangible items cannot be sold. Therefore, Vodafone will have to transfer the proceeds from the message to the refugee fund.

Many intangible things can be sold with tokens - music, videos, messages, etc.

Nevertheless, such technology has recently begun to be transformed into real objects. Moreover, some owners of such digital lots follow the path of destruction - first they buy a real prototype of the token, and then, after transformation, they burn it.

However, this does not apply to musical instruments yet. You can buy them in real form on the OXO website in the section.
