Japanese designer Takuto Ohta presented conceptual furniture that he brought to reality. The models look very unusual and violate some laws of physics.

The furniture is a set of wooden blocks that can be connected together using adhesive tape. Thus, the configurations of the resulting objects resemble various planning items - from stools and benches to tables and design art objects.

To build a piece of furniture, all you need to do is use natural wood blocks and bright duct tape. By connecting blocks at different angles, all kinds of geometric objects are obtained, which are transformed into pieces of furniture. As a rule, the generally accepted angle at which parts of Takuto Okhta modular furniture "fit together" is 45 degrees.

The contrast of light natural wood and bright adhesive tape looks quite attractive. From the side it seems that the wooden blocks were brushed with multi-colored paints - red, yellow, green, orange, gray.

The designer notes that such pieces of furniture need to be looked at more broadly. Stand in front of the blocks, and do not pay close attention to the purpose and significance of future objects. When they are created, you don't need to think a lot, but you just need to give free rein to your hands and, accordingly, fantasy. So many laws of physics simply simply take over. And in some cases they are even violated.

You can buy traditional home models at OXO website. The section of the same name also contains modular furniture that can be adapted to different spaces.
