Horizon Aeronautics has presented a conceptual version of a bicycle that can move through the air.

The design of the innovative transport is focused on the use of an air cushion. It will also incorporate a sophisticated rotor system reinforced with a variable pitch plate.

Visually, only half of the lift fans will protrude under the bottom of the bike, which is considered a fairly efficient move. Moreover, each of the blades can change its pitch, regardless of the flight parameters.

When the plate is in a strictly horizontal position, the movement of all blades is synchronized. An analogy for the movement of such an invention can be drawn with a helicopter.

The innovative hoverbike will carry up to three people. The pilot and two passengers can be comfortably seated in the seat. In terms of power, the available spherical rotors help to develop sufficient performance in order to transport people at a sufficient height.

The developers plan to first create an experimental version of the size of a jet ski and designed for one person. After successful testing of the test hoverbike, Horizon Aeronautics will move to the production of reinforced versions.

There is currently no information on the dates of the project implementation. The specialized media suggest that this will happen within the next 3-5 years.
