A micro-universe enclosed in a ring - this is the name that fits the creations from the Canadian family studio. A couple of craftsmen from Vancouver began to create original jewelry from jewelry resin and pieces of wood back in 2015. The inspiration for this hobby was the local landscape, namely the picturesque forest located not far from the workshop.
According to the product designers, they strive to create tiny fairy-tale worlds that people will experience aesthetic pleasure when looking at. It takes at least 5-6 hours of time for the craftsmen to make one copy. First of all, craftsmen select pieces of hard wood for future rings. After that, the design of the layout is developed so that it is not similar to any of the previous ones. After all, each product must be unique.
The most difficult stage is recreating the layout to life. Cutting out a 3D drawing requires absolute jewelry precision. After filling the blank with white acrylic, the craftsmen fill it with resin with the addition of multi-colored polymers. Sometimes designers use other fillers as well, such as silver and gold flakes or even fluorescent "snow". At the end of the process, the products are sanded, polished and covered with a glossy varnish. In each ring, the designers "seal" a special philosophy and fantasy mood, so all the pieces are not alike.
