The tanker robot was used for its intended purpose in one of the Tibetan prisons. This device has increased safety for working in such places.

Visually, the robot resembles similar devices for the supply of fuel to transport. It has several sleeves that fix the filling hoses. However, it has the function of automatically delivering fuel directly to its "hand".

To make the device as safe as possible for working at gas stations, the developers had to protect it from temperature extremes and the influence of ultraviolet radiation. For this, all insulating coatings and the frame of the device itself are “wrapped” in protective materials.

Such materials and impregnations make the robot neutral in relation to low or high temperatures, excessive exposure to ultraviolet rays. This is to prevent overheating and subsequent possible fires.

The effectiveness of using robots for performing routine actions has long been proven. However, they have not previously been used at gas stations and similar potentially fire-prone locations. Now, after the tests, the situation is likely to change.

Also, the use of robotic installations allows you to save money on human resources. There is no need to use people shift work, lunch breaks and workers' wages.
