Stunning holiday houses are located in the coniferous forest of the city of Odda (Norway). The main feature of the original cottages is their location and design. From the outside, it seems as if the buildings are hovering right in the air. In fact, the buildings are fixed with a special steel collar to the tree trunk. Due to the absence of a large number of structures, it seems that the tree passes through the cottage. The project, called Woodnest, was designed by Helen & Hard Architects.

Getting to Woodnest is not easy. Potential guests must first make their way along the mountain road. But the stunning view that opens from the cottages "soaring" above the ground justifies all efforts. The dimensions of the houses are only 15 meters. But the design of the interior space is thought out to the smallest detail. Every detail is aimed at a comfortable stay of the guests of the complex.

To the right and left of the entrance is the bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen and living room are a combined space. The facade of the houses is made of panoramic glass. In addition, outside the cone-shaped houses are finished with tiles and aesthetic wooden slats.

“We wanted to recreate a place where a person would feel like he is in the bosom of nature, but at the same time he would not be deprived of comfort,” said the architects of Helen & Hard Architects. At our mill, construction tools are presented in this section.
