Carved patterns on wood are created by American artist Gabriel Shama. These are amazing compositions, overflowing with meanings.

The uniqueness of the compositions lies in the fact that they are cut out in layers. First, the wizard creates the inner layer, and then the outer one. Moves from the center to the periphery.

The process of creating a wooden panel begins on the computer. Gabriel Schama designs a future image using a computer. In the graphics editor, he plays with volume, shadows, and the arrangement of specific elements.

To work on each layer, the artist uses vector applications and transfers the blank panel to the machine. After cutting, all the details of the future image are assembled, glued and varnished.

The artist draws inspiration for his work from Islamic architecture and Buddhist mandalas. The latter are understood as schematic drawings used in Hindu and Buddhist temples. However, unlike these ephemeral images, the work of the American artist is quite real.

As Gabriel Schama notes, he sees his work as intricate and large-scale at the same time. His project is just another step for stylistic improvements that will be implemented in subsequent projects.

The works of Gabriel Scham are not only exhibited to all those who are passionate about this subject, but are also sold on the artist's website.

Similar panels can be purchased on the OXO website in the section "House, interior". Most of them are based on wood. However, they can also be created in relation to other materials.
