Inspired by the legacy of designers from the 50s, Italian architect Luca Niketto has unveiled a new line of furniture. The collection, created in collaboration with De La Espada, is filled with philosophical ideas of Scandinavian style and has references to Italian post-modernism.
The Stella chair is made from fiber optics, a material in demand in the 1950s. Curved armrests and wooden legs secure the seat. Outwardly, it resembles a shell. The inside of the seat is upholstered in fabric for the comfort of the wearer. According to the author, the product is multifunctional and will fit into any interior.
The table called Marlon intrigues with the play of contrasts. Marble legs are a reliable support for a laconic wooden tabletop. For ease of transport, the product can be disassembled into parts.
Elysia is an armchair that was Luca's first design for De La Espada. A single set with Elysia is the “Nino” pouffe. Both products are made in the stylist of the middle of the last century. Nino is made of wood. The top of the frame is covered with velvet upholstery.
In the Steve series, the designer focused on jewelry made of precious stones. A quilted wood base rests on minimalist cast iron legs. The color scheme is represented by 3 shades. All items in the collection harmoniously combine modern aesthetics with elements of retro design. Simple at first glance, the products together look like a complex and multifaceted composition.
