Canadian design studio Secret Wood creates more than just furniture. Recently, as a hobby, designers have begun to make rings.

The work uses resin and wood. The base of different types of wood is covered with epoxy resin of different formats. Added beeswax. Processing is carried out in such a way that the output is microcosms - mountain ranges, forests and rivers.

In some cases, designers use flowers. They put them on a base of wood, and then pour resin.

The procedure for creating a ring begins with a sketch. Then, after using the blank and pouring, the entire form freezes. Dries and polishes.

Inspiration is provided by natural motifs. Often designers use books and specialized magazines of jewelers of past years as a basis. It turns out very elegant.

Tiny landscapes also include urban and rural motifs. On the rings, amazing natural phenomena literally come to life - whirlpools in rivers, polar lights, snow drifts.

The detail in the images is amazing. Three-dimensionality of objects, capsular cone-shaped shells.

As noted by the authors of jewelry, due to the design features and materials, they can be worn forever. Combine with different looks, as well as try to "weave" into sets with other decorations made of wood and epoxy.

You can pick up a similar decoration on the OXO website in the corresponding section. And if you wish, using a set of tools, design them yourself.
