Ruby Sylvius loves to drink tea not only because of its taste and relaxing properties. Used tea bags serve as canvases for the girl, on which she draws amazing pictures.
The artist created drawings in an unusual format throughout the whole year. Every day is a new picture. Ruby recently released 363 Days of Tea: A Visual Journal on Used Teabags, featuring all of her creations. The original art of Silvius gives viewers a fresh take on traditional tea bags.

I became interested in Ruby's non-standard creativity about 7 years ago. Previously, the craftswoman was an interior designer. But the studio where she worked closed. And the artist decided to try her hand in some new direction. The 363 Days of Tea project appeared quite by accident. Once Sylvius was drinking tea and a bag with traces of dried tea leaves caught her eye. The craftswoman saw something poetic in this. Fantasy instantly drew details that were not enough for a single composition.

But in practice, the girl faced a number of difficulties. The artist spent a lot of time and effort before miniature masterpieces began to be born. After a series of experiments, Ruby realized that the watercolor technique was the most suitable for her art objects. Now the artist has a lot of works in her arsenal, which are exhibited at exhibitions in Europe and the USA.

The artist often visits museums, where she carefully observes other visitors. It is they who often become the central characters of Ruby's drawings.
