Experts from Cheil Worldwide, a company belonging to the Samsung group, have developed a vase Firevase, which in case of fire can be used as a fire extinguisher. The object made of red glass, fits into the surrounding interior and is always at hand. The object consists of two layers: inside the vessel, between the inner and outer wall, is potassium carbonate. When a colorless liquid is released, rapid cooling occurs, thereby suppressing oxygen and the fire fades. The vase only needs to be thrown into the source of the fire.
