This summer Jaguar XJ will celebrate its tenth anniversary. This is quite a lot for the competitive segment, in which the brand begins to lose ground in the US and Europe. To save the day, Jaguar is going to upgrade the XJ, turning it into an electric car. In the new project, engineers use the technology that was previously used in the I-Pace crossover. In the future, Jaguar XJ should become a competitor of Tesla Model S.
It should be noted that the Jaguar XJ will translate on a modular platform MLA. A 90-100 kW battery will be installed under the hood. Four electric motors produce 200 HP each.
