The updated Sonata will appear in the turbo version

Sedan Sonata from Hyundai will receive a turbocharged engine. Modification with a new motor showed in Seoul. The new 1.6-liter gasoline engine power of 182 HP engine is paired with 6-speed manual or 8-speed automatic transmission.

Hyundai Sonata Turbo equipped with a new grille and several air ducts under the headlights. Rear bumper changed, and put a spoiler on the trunk lid.

Hyundai also demonstrated a hybrid version of Sonata in Seoul. Solar panels were installed on the roof, thanks to which the accumulated energy will be enough to drive 1,300 km.
