The Korean company LG has long had a difficult situation with the mobile division. Therefore, the management of the electronics manufacturer decided to stop the production of smartphones in South Korea. All existing plants will be moved to Vietnam, where the plant has already been prepared. According to analysts, now the Korean company produces about 20% of all devices, most of which are flagship smartphones.
Of course, LG does not plan to completely stop the production of smartphones, even given the low sales figures. The company will continue to compete with other manufacturers. Earlier, in 2019 MWC, LG introduced two new LG G8 ThinQ and LG V50 ThinQ 5G .
