Audi has improved the sports R8 LMS

In 2015, Audi released the supercar R8 LMS, designed for racing. This year, Audi has upgraded the car, adding various aerodynamic updates, which increased downforce and reduced drag. In addition, the modernization also affected the brake system, which provides improved cooling.

Under the hood placed 5.2-liter engine with a capacity of 585 HP and an outstanding 550 n•m of torque. Changes were made to the 6-speed gearbox, clutch and differential lock system. This allowed to improve the performance of the power plant and at the same time significantly reduce the wear of parts. Security systems were also revised, and the model as a whole became lighter than the previous version by 25 kg.
