Electric Aston Martin drove on the highway in Monaco

The Aston Martin Rapide E electric car, which was recently shown in Shanghai, was brought to Monaco. Rapide E is assembled on the basis of a sedan equipped with a 604 HP engine and developing 950 Nm of torque. The engine is powered by a 65 kW lithium-ion battery.

The batteries are located in the front, under the hood, in the place where the standard car is usually a 5-liter gasoline engine. A total of 155 electric Rapide E will be produced, which will be built at the plant in Wales. At the same the company will continue to produce the Lagonda SUV.
