DJI's Osmo Action: gopro's new competitor

The company DJI, which produces drones, has developed a camera Osmo Action, which will be the main competitor of GoPro. The device is equipped with two screens, which are located on both sides. The main 2.25-inch screen with a resolution of 640×360 is fully touch-sensitive, covered with a protective material that protects against water and fingerprints. The second, 1.4-inch display is designed for selfies.

Shooting is a 12-megapixel camera with Sony matrix. The lens received a viewing angle of 145 degrees. The video can be shot in 4K at 60 frames per second. In addition, there is a slow-motion video mode in 4 and 8 times.

The gadget can be used at low temperatures. The camera is protected from falls from a height of 1.5 m. It can also be immersed in water to a depth of 11 m. For a deeper dive, you need to purchase a cover.

The battery with a capacity of 1300 mAh is responsible for the work, thanks to which one charge will be enough for 93 minutes of shooting in 4K. With Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, the DJI Osmo Action camera can be connected to a smartphone. Dimensions of new items are 65x42x35 mm and weight – 124 g. the Cost of the device – $ 350.
