Luxury country house for a large family

Studio Arthur Casas has built an open house that looks not just like everyday housing-it is a real holiday cottage. The area of the house, which is 990 square meters, is occupied by a couple with three adult daughters. The building is located in such a way that most of the sunlight enters the bedrooms, and the dark side is a large free space, integrated into the context of the surrounding nature.

Since the house is located in a dry area, next to him dug a small pond. In the pond live fish and algae grow. Water, stone, wood-all this combined with each other forms a unique effect. Thanks to an unusual architectural solution-a long free space running from the North to the South of the house-a kind of light gap is created, thanks to which the sun's rays enter the less illuminated rooms.

In addition to living rooms and kitchen in the house you can also find a utility room, a workshop and a basement. The second floor is covered with vertical wooden blinds, contrasting with the brick from which the first floor is made.
