Formentor from Cupra tested on real roads

Cupra will soon start producing the Formentor SUV. The first car has already gone to the test in Spain. The upcoming test will be the first test on the real road. Mass production will start next year.

The prototype Formentor assembled on the platform, which became the basis for SEAT Ateca. However, the novelty is wider and more powerful. Engineers equipped the car with a hybrid engine with a capacity of 242 HP. the Electric charge is enough to drive the SUV 50 km. in Addition, under the hood is a 1.5-liter TSI engine. As for the production version, it can be a fully gasoline engine or a hybrid version of the engine with a 48-volt system.

The appearance of the car is very dynamic. Formentor has got led lights and elements that give the SUV a sporty look. The cabin is equipped with a 10-inch information system and a digital dashboard.
