BYD Tang added an electric version

Hybrid crossover BYD Tang occupies a special place in the Chinese market. Now together with it will be sold as its predecessor – an all-electric version of the BYD Tang 600. Buyers will be able to choose one of two modifications. EV 600 with front-wheel drive will be estimated at 40 thousand dollars depending on the filling. EV 600D rear-wheel drive will cost more – up to 50 thousand dollars.

Both options will be equipped with a 82.8 kWh battery. They will be able to accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.4 s. According to NEDC data, the standard version with a capacity of 245 HP is capable of driving 520 km on a single charge. Experts believe that this figure can in reality be 350 km.
