Nissan will sell the batteries, taken from old electric cars

Renault-Nissan Energy Services is working on projects in which it plans to use batteries removed from vehicles that are out of service. The fact that the batteries Nissan Leaf can last for 10 years longer than the electric car.

A few years ago, the company, in cooperation with Eaton and The Mobility House, installed an additional xstorage Building system at the Amsterdam agepa stadium, supplying the facility with electricity. The device consists of 148 new and used units from Leaf. The system produces 3 MW and protects the electrical network from overloads. In the near future, the Japanese will start selling old batteries along with solar panels.
