France plans to ban the sale of cars with diesel and gasoline engines. The ban will come into force in 2040, so drivers have time to prepare for the changes. The first statement on the ban was made in 2017 by the former Minister of transport. The current Minister supported this initiative.
In accordance with the announced program, residents of apartment buildings will be able to require the installation of charging stations for electric cars in their Parking lots. At the same time, the rejection of gasoline and diesel engines will be an unpleasant change for the poor people of the country. After all, the complete replacement of cars with electric cars does not mean a decrease in their cost. In addition, the French government will undertake the modernization of Railways and other forms of public transport.
