The artist Leiko Ikemura showed her house in which she not only lives but also works. Since the room is a workshop, the designers decided not to focus much on the interior and architecture. All this should not interfere with the creative process.

The room is perfectly designed proportions, thanks to which the house looks like a Museum. The size of the Windows and their number are carefully calculated, because the light here should not be very much. After all, excessive lighting often spoils works of art. The walls are ideal for exposure, where you can change the work to see how they will look in the galleries.

The surface of the walls does not attract attention. The color of the cement does not distract from the paintings and gives the house a special character. Decor decided not to use. What really attracts attention is the size of all the rooms. Simplicity is the key word that can characterize this housing.
