Ford manufactures SUVs with floor mats from recycled bottles

Ford decided to help in the fight against waste by connecting the SUV EcoSport. Now this car is equipped with mats, which were used in the manufacture of plastic bottles. Seven years have passed since the first presentation of EcoSport. During this time, the manufacturer disposed of more than 650 million bottles.

At the moment, the total weight of all used bottles exceeded 8 million tons. It is worth noting that Ford has long been using recycled garbage in its products. Mondeo was the first model in which you can find parts made from former bottles.
