Volkswagen introduced the electric car Type 20, assembled on the basis of the classic minivan Type 2 1962. Experts from IECC, the Volkswagen development center, which will soon become the largest among similar companies located outside Germany, participated in the development.

The van was equipped with an electric motor with a capacity of 120 HP and a battery with a capacity of 10 kW•h. the type 20 Air suspension was created with the support of engineers from Porsche. Access to the control of the car is carried out using the facial recognition system.

In the cabin there are microphones for the driver and passengers that recognize voice commands. In addition, the designers have worked on the appearance, and gave an unusual appearance to the wheels, mirror supports and steering wheel. The model, along with other prototypes, is planned to be shown at the IECC exhibition.
