Gabriel Galimberi is an Italian photographer who travels the world in search of ideas, interesting stories and no less interesting people. But in his latest project, attention was focused on the children.
Gabriel Galimberi in the project "Toy Story" showed children from all over the world playing their toys.
“All the children are almost the same. They just want to play,” the photographer says. But he clarified that games vary from country to country. Moreover, as Gabriel noted, children from wealthier countries are more greedy for their toys.
“At first they didn’t even want me to touch their toys,” says the photographer. “And it took me more time to let me play with them. In poor countries it was much easier. Even if the children there were only 2-3 toys, they didn’t worry about them. In Africa, for example, children do play on the street only with friends, without toys. "
In fact, children can be happy without toys. They often play anything, simulating life situations and copying adults. And the most important help in this is their imagination.
