Lenovo has presented a serial laptop with a flexible screen - ThinkPad X1.

The acquaintance of fans of the products of the Chinese company with the new device took place at the CES 2020 exhibition in Las Vegas. Among the innovations of this device, the flexible screen and keyboard overlay attract attention, reports Popular Mechanics.

The device’s screen is the result of a collaboration between Lenovo and LG. This is a 13.3-inch OLED panel that occupies both halves of the laptop. A flexible display can be “laid out”, so that the device resembles a tablet rather than a laptop.

The novelty is equipped with a physical keyboard, but users can additionally purchase an overlay keyboard that connects to the PC via Bluetooth.

The ThinkPad X1 received Intel Core processors, eight gigabytes of RAM and SSDs up to a terabyte. It has three USB-C ports, with no 3.5mm headphone jack. The laptop will receive the Windows 10X operating system.

The ThinkPad X1 is expected to go on sale in mid-2020.

Earlier it was reported that astronauts from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration will soon receive innovative glasses that support 8K resolution.
