In the Australian city of Ingham, Queensland, bats forced locals to hide in their homes. The Australians were able to film this phenomenon.

In the frames you can see how bats fill the sky, and also are placed on trees. A video taken by eyewitnesses was published by the Daily Mirror newspaper.

Due to the situation in the city, air ambulance temporarily suspended its work. Many townspeople do not go out and do not let their children go to school.

According to the city administration, the invasion of bats is a serious problem that needs to be addressed radically. One of the local politicians even proposed to take up arms to shoot them.

Locals say that with the advent of bats in the city, crowds of tourists began to gather here.

Recently, the OXO wrote about the world record set American astronaut Christine Koch. After 328 days on the International Space Station, she landed in Kazakhstan.
