Samsung held a presentation of a folding smartphone. This happened at the Oscars.

The presentation clip was introduced as a separate ad unit during the Oscars. The video showed a device that was opened at a right angle, reports Engadget.

The smartphone is equipped with two displays — primary and secondary. The first folds vertically, the second is located on the cover of the device. Using the latter, you can see the caller’s contacts, reset or accept a call.

The name of the smartphone was not disclosed. The only thing that was reported during the advertisement, its release will take place on February 11 at the presentation of Unpacked.

According to media reports, the new product will be called Galaxy Z Flip, a 6.7-inch primary and 1.06-inch secondary screens, a Snapdragon 855+ processor, eight gigabytes of RAM, a dual camera with a resolution of 12 and 13 megapixels.

Recently, the Chinese company TCL Communication announced the completion of the release of smartphones BlackBerry by August 31, 2020.
