The application of the artist from the UAE, Julia Ibbini, resembles the painted patterns that previously decorated architectural structures. Plain paper in her hands turns into real works of art.
An Arab artist uses elements of Islamic geometry, embroidery, traditional enamel painting and even electronic music, which serves as her inspiration for creating lace paper applications that she creates with a laser,
reports Colossal.
Julia turned to a combination of motifs and shades in her compositions in view of her multicultural nature. She is half Jordanian and half British.
To create elements of the composition, which will subsequently be cut out by a laser, the artist uses special computer algorithms. After that, she manually paints in color ink all the details of the picture.
Earlier, OXO wrote about another woman who is fond of working with paper.
Hobby Pippa Durlaga is an incredibly detailed carving. The British artist depicts everything that surrounds her.
