Kindergarten Tianshui Kaleidoscope opened in the Chinese city of Tianshui in January. Its main feature is an unusual architectural solution in the form of multi-colored glazing.
Inside and outside the kindergarten there are 483 multi-colored glasses that are beautifully illuminated and shimmer in the sun. Due to these overflows, a kaleidoscope effect is created,
writes Colossal.
In the afternoon, the sun penetrates the kindergarten, filling everything with bright light. At night, it turns into a real work of architectural and design art, glowing with different colors from the inside.
“We hope that the time children spend in the walls of this kindergarten will contribute to the development of their creative abilities and imagination,” writes the project architect, Keiichiro Sako from SAKO Architects.
Earlier, OXO also wrote about an unusual architectural project. In the center of London, a
flying house is installed — an old Victorian mansion like “cut” into two parts. This installation was invented and implemented by the British illusionist Alex Chinnek.
