The international company Sega has announced the re-release of the Game Gear game console. The announced novelty will be released without cartridges, it will be less in comparison with its predecessor, and classic games will already be pre-installed.

In total, the company plans to release four versions of the game console, which will differ in colors and sets of games. Each Game Gear will designate its own set of games, reports Kotaku.

In the black version of Game Gear, Sonic the Hedgehog, Puyo Puyo, Out Run and Royal Stone will appear, in red — Revelations: The Demon Slayer, Megami Tensei Gaiden: Last Bible Special, The G.G. Shinobi and Columns, in yellow — Shining Force Gaiden, Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya, Shining Force Gaiden: Final Conflict and Nazo Puyo Arle no Roux; and finally in blue — Sonic Chaos, Gunstar Heroes, Sylvan Tale and Baku Baku Animal.

The device will be equipped with a standard joystick-cross, two buttons, a speaker and a headphone jack. Game Gear will be powered by two AAA batteries. The console will be equipped with Big Window Micro — a magnifying glass that is worn on the console and displays a large format image.

Recently, the LetsGoDigital portal found a Samsung patent on the Web that describes an advanced smartphone gamepad. It has the usual controls for console joysticks — triggers, analog sticks, D-pad.
