Bonsai art has many fans around the world. British resident Chris Gays among them. He grows and collects such trees. But recently, the British decided to create a bonsai for the hobbits.

A mechanical engineer built a bonsai next to a house of the same size for Bilbo Baggins, Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee, the heroes of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, reports Big picture.

First, Chris Gais bought a small tree, the trunk of which formed about two years. When the edges were roughened and decorated, the British decided to stylize the surrounding area as a hobbit house. On the base platform, he made a mound of special soil and planted a tree. He built a border from clay and peat to hold the soil.

Chris Gais made the hill from a sponge used by florists. It is lightweight and easy to use for creating decorative elements. It was strengthened with wire and covered with soil.

The master installed the frame of the brick house on a plastic grid. Its elements are pre-cut from roof tiles. All parts were cemented, leaving only room for windows and doors. After the installation of all elements of the composition, there was only a covering with lawn moss bunches.

Recently, OXO wrote about a photo artist, who is also not indifferent to representatives of the flora. She created a photo collection carnivorous plants. In her project, she considers their details, focusing on catchy functions.
