Special wood sculptures are created by the artist and teacher from America Victoria Wagner. Her works, made of wood, are like two drops of water similar to precious stones, which were processed by a skilled jeweler. The products look so cute and realistic that without hesitation, I want to put them in a box and put them in a prominent place. Victoria gave a series of her creations a consonant name "wooden stones" (Woodrocks).

Okho will tell you about the process of making unusual products.
Using corner cuts, Wagner gives the reclaimed wood a crystal shape with facets that mimic real-life. For a realistic effect and the illusion of having edges, the craftswoman covers the surface with oil paints layer by layer. The last step in the work is to cover the items with shellac, so that they acquire a sparkling texture.

The priority color scheme in the crafts of the craftsman is the one that is found in wildlife: natural shades of the sky at dawn, the calm glow of the sunset sun, gentle play of blue water or the freshness of grasses in the meadow. According to the author of the sculptures, her works are filled with observation and intrigue. She fills the familiar things with her thoughts, experiences and emotions, creating her own mysterious story for them.

Victoria was pushed to such creativity by a non-trivial event. Old trees were cut down near her place of residence. The sight of trees scattered everywhere and now no longer needed made an indelible impression on Wagner. And the girl got the idea to give them a second chance to exist.

The extraordinary fusion of form, material and palette of colors evokes an exciting emotional uplift among admirers of the sculptor. You want to look at such products without taking your eyes off.
