A flower tale: Dainichi Sankyo Co dreamed up a vase from a book

The design studio Dainichi Sankyo Co is known for its numerous projects in the interior field. Another fantasy of its specialists is a book vase for flowers.

The experimental decoration is stylized as a book volume. Expanding it, blank pages appear in front of the reader, designed as a container for water.

There is a glass plug at the bottom of the book that holds the water poured inside. It remains only to put flowers in a vase.

Designers have developed three versions of books with different silhouettes of vases. The differences concern the shape of the vase itself and its color. You can choose a classic white or purple with a thin neck jug. Or you can stop at the egg-shaped version.

The idea of ​​creating such a decor item arose spontaneously. One of the studio specialists accidentally knocked over a vase on the book. It was unpleasant, wet and sorry for the publication. But when “the glass was on the paper,” an employee of Dainichi Sankyo Co had an inspiration.

Vase books are far from the main product of a design studio. Rather, it is a hobby of her staff. The employees of Dainichi Sankyo Co produce such goods for the holidays and give them to their colleagues, family and friends.

The management even had the idea to continue creating vase books in such quantity that an exhibition could be held. These are the nearest plans of the design studio, which will have a positive effect on advertising.

In the meantime, the created products can be observed on the personal website of the designers and in the studio's social networks. This is an example of how work smoothly switches into art, becomes a hobby.
