Australian collector of paintings and chairs showed his home

Australian architect John Henry lives in the suburbs of Melbourne. The interior of his house is decorated with over 90 designer chairs and a collection of abstract paintings.

Works of art and collection items are located throughout the architect's house. They occupy the focal points of numerous rooms.

The interior of the house is filled with bright colors, light and greenery of the suburbs of Melbourne. The steel structure is separated from the outside world by glass walls. Outwardly, it even resembles a greenhouse or a greenhouse - light, transparency, plants.

Among John Henry's chairs and armchairs, there are futuristic stools, undulating rocking chairs, and elegant office racks.

The desire to create the home of your dreams in this form originated in the Australian architect in his youth. As a teenager, John Henry visited one of Melbourne's art galleries and was amazed at what he saw. An extensive collection of paintings and objects of applied art forever imprinted in the memory of the then young man.

Having received an architectural education, interest in the visual arts did not fade into the background. On the contrary, it found its expression in the projects of John Henry. The projects gradually included elements of art, moderate brightness and unusual shaped furniture.

Henry also chose the profession of an architect for his love of drawing. His parents could not afford to study at an art school and assigned their son to the design department. Thirst for beauty and collecting are reflected in the works of the Austrian architect and his home.
