Chinese engineers have tested the robot dog. The device obeys commands and leaves no unpleasant surprises.

A highly intelligent animal uses a series of sensors to "see" and "hear". Each of them is responsible for specific functional tasks of the robot. The four-legged "pet" can perceive the environment while walking along the street with the owner.

The robot dog is stable due to its four legs used for walking, running and transporting loads. This aspect was overlooked in earlier models.

Built-in sensors provide an analysis of the level of friction of surfaces and the dimensions of standing objects - length, width, height. The robot almost instantly adapts to obstacles.

Unlike previously created robots, manufacturers of such a "dog" are tuned in to the consumer market. The devices can be used as helpers around the house - transporting goods, looking after children and old people, serving as guide dogs.

According to the developers, testing of the robot dog continues. They want to train the device with the help of AI to behave like a real dog.

In case of successful completion of all tests, Chinese designers will move on to mass production of devices. It is assumed that such adaptations will greatly facilitate the life of single people, as well as families with three or more children.

Test trials will last until the end of this year. The production of robotic dogs is planned to be launched in 2023-2024.

Information about the cost is not yet known. But the "dog" is positioned as a budget "gadget".

Earlier it was reported about a German robot that rescues drowning people.
