Bentley's management announced the decision to re-release the retro car, which was at its peak of popularity 90 years ago. For the first time, the Team Blower model saw the world back in 1929. She had the status of the rarest car made in Britain. The English race car driver Tim Birkin took part in the development of Team Blower. It is known that within two years the company will recreate 12 copies of cars. It is worth noting that they will all be collected by hand.

The prototype of the retro cars will bear the new name Car Zero. The development of a three-dimensional model of the future car was carried out by Bentley Mulliner engineers. To create the necessary drawings and obtain a digital version of the car, the specialists took apart the original Team Blower model, and then each part was scanned using a 3 D laser. In addition, to create some of the parts, the engineers plan to use the original molds left over from the production of the original car model.

After a year of continuous work, the Bentley team boasts the first parts to be used in an updated version of Car Zero. At the moment, the following have already been manufactured: fuel tank, engine, chassis, turbocharging system, levers and leaf spring suspension. It should be noted that nickel is used for the production of the radiator, and the body is made of natural ash. As conceived by the developers, the car's engine has a capacity of 240 horsepower. All tests required to verify engine performance were performed at the Bentley Test Bench.

Car Zero will go to the final assembly after successfully passing special tests. Only after that the model will be available for preview to the first potential buyers.
