Diochroic glass, geometry of proportions, mathematical harmony - Jack Storms' sculptures amaze with their sophistication and originality. These are bright patterned flashes and thousands of small fireworks encased in glass. Composed of elements and shards of crystal, Jack's work shimmers in different colors, like a real rainbow. Fragments of diochroic
glasses are bonded with high transparency epoxy glue. Thanks to this, the sculptures have a special play of colors from all angles. Flashes of light are lined up in a mysterious arbitrary ornament, then in a clear geometric figure.

To create another masterpiece, Jack thinks over the size, color and location of the glass elements. The central part of the composition is a solid crystal of a certain shape. The master carefully polishes and applies a mirror finish to it. Step by step, the artist glues the pieces of glass to the core. The last stage of work is to cover the sculpture with crystal in a prepared form. The rays of light, reflecting from the crystal core, change their hue and literally dazzle with luxurious beauty.

Storms studied glass making for a year. This was after graduation. An unusual gift, dedication, perseverance and skill quickly bore fruit. A few years later (in 2004), the artist presented his creations to the public in his own gallery located in California.
Today the artist's works are in great demand. He is invited to participate in large-scale projects. For example, Jack created a huge glass fire dome for the Pleasanton Arts Center. And in honor of baseball star Derek Jiter, the master made a glass bat.
